Since I always am on the lookout for subjects to paint, a trip to Rose Island near Parry Sound presented a number of suitable, appealing subjects. I am never without my camera as a way of recording visual information that may or may not become part of future paintings. My collection of those informational photographs now numbers around 70,000.
