River Flats near Blair
Painting Description
This is a view across the fields to the Grand River just south of Blair. Warm colour relationships are clearly most important in this piece.
Part of the appeal in this piece is the flatness of the landscape which puts me in mind of the paintings of Edward Seago, a British artist who painted the flat landscape of Norfolk and Suffolk. I am a part of all that I have met or it is a part of me. I came across this particular view while scouting for a Walter Bean Trail video.
