Painting Description

Late afternoon provides long shadows against warm light to dramatize an already spectacular landscape. I was set up in a parking lot that gave me a great view and a safe place to paint. When I look at this sky, I think that I must have been influenced by the strong colours that my Québecquois friends used so deftly.
