Painting Description

This small bit of a stream by the Walter Bean Trail drew my attention as I stooped to pick up a pen that I had dropped. The muted colours and the upside down idea was most attractive.

I hope to be open to new views as I walk along. This really simple subject is handled quite loosely making use of the tooth of the board. The subtle colours add to the appeal for me. It’s so easy to overlook so many wonderful views.
