Painting Description

This is one of the few paintings that I have done of rain. Most of my paintings deal with sunlight, but here the soft colours against the vibrant ones create their own light. Even with this rain, the show must go on. I witnessed this scene at the Canadian Carriage Classic, an annual event that always provides me with new subjects and a chance to enjoy memories of my childhood.
