Painting Description

The harbour at Queenstown, New Zealand, is basically a tourist facility on Lake Wakatipu. A small steamer provides a romantic flavour as it executes its run. Like all tourists to Queenstown, “Fit for Queen Victoria”, we couldn”t wait for the ride which took us to a farm some miles away. The hotel in which we stayed fronted onto the harbour and provided this view.
