Private Spot
Painting Description
Along the leafy banks of the Grand River just downstream from Bridgeport I prowled along the Walter Bean Trail looking for a suitable subject for a video that I am doing with Janet Kimantas. In the background through a break in the trees is an abutment for a railroad that was never built.
This is one of many locations that I considered as the subject for a painting video. I thought the tunnel-like situation so lovely and private. In the end I selected another view just several hundred feet downstream that also included the bridge abutment.
