Prince Edward Island Harbour

Painting Description

This view of Victoria Harbour in Prince Edward Island reminds me of paintings of East Anglia in England by the late Edward Seago. This artist specialized in views of that flat featureless landscape and later went on to be known for works painted from his boat while cruising the waterways of England and Europe. His oils of shadowed and sunlit landscape are a favourite of many and were eagerly collected by the late Queen Mother.
