A covered buggy, dachwegle, rolls along a quiet rural road in spring.

I have had the pleasant quiet experience of riding in a dachwegle down a country road. As we chatted the background sounds were the grinding of the wheels on the gravel or the rhythm of the horse hooves. We were in a separate world that reminded me of my childhood when occasionally I rode in my father’s milk wagon. The sounds of a city were not nearly as peaceful.
