Painting Description

While painting this view, I was approached by a young woman and her two children who lived in the house across the meandering highway behind me. She was so pleased that I had chosen to paint their farm. I didn’t feel it necessary to tell her that part of the farm’s attractiveness for me lay in the fact that this was one of the few safe places to park off the side of this twisting road.
