Pioneer Passage
Painting Description
This small piece of Grand Rivers shoreline, in the Freeport area, exhibits a wide range of subtle colours. The complexity and layering of natures hues provide a quiet space in which to think about the history of this celebrated river. I’m sure that pioneers who travelled up this watercourse were too busy to consider this quiet beauty. I’m glad that I have the chance to stop, enjoy and dream about this place.
