Painting Description

I love the colour of this pink wild fruit tree on a fence line near Crosshill, Ontario.

In the spring the colours are so vibrant and so appreciated after the often dull colours of winter. I exaggerated the blues in the distance to enhance the pink of this tree. During my time at art college we were encouraged to “seek colour” by looking very closely.
