Painting Description

This piece inspired by a visit to Nymans, a country house in Sussex, England would be, I think, the basis for a fabric design. I am often drawn to small details of buildings or gardens that present a pleasing pattern. For me, a subject does not need to go beyond a pleasing combination of colours and shapes.
