Piling Logs
Painting Description
Piling logs is dangerous work and requires a true appreciation for the lever principle. This process is only part of the work of keeping the bush in good shape. A well managed woodlot has regular culls which make way for new growth. From this point these logs will be cut into bush-length pieces, four feet long. The next step is reducing those pieces to stove length, only one foot long.
