A roadside jumble of sticks and trees drew my attention in a quiet spot near Erin, Ontario.

As often happens for me, I saw the Pick up Stick parallel long after I took the photo. At first I was drawn to the delicate spindly chaos but as I looked at the photo, the children’s game came to mind.
