Painting Description

This elegant back façade was only visible once we had finished skating our way through the Czar’s Summer Palace. Visitors to this overwhelmingly impressive structure must wear woollen mittens over their shoes to tour this almost totally reconstructed edifice. The volume of visiting tourists would destroy the wooden floors if this unusual precaution were not taken.
