Painting Description

I suppose that this painting is as much about the bright sunny day as it is of the Bearinger farm north of Crosshill. Although a painting from 2008, I worked from several photos taken over twenty years before. I came across these photos when I was sifting through my files on another project. I am so glad that I started taking photos of everything, so many years ago. I would like to tell you that I was farsighted, knowing that I would revisit these places and times, but that is not true. I did however have the foresight to file these shots so that I can put my hands on an experience from 20 years ago.
