Painting Description

It’’s hard to believe that construction turmoil occupied the area along Regina Street in Waterloo. After things have been righted, I find it difficult to hold their previous appearance in my memory. This painting was created onsite from a crowded spot behind Janet Lynn’s Restaurant. While I was working there, Kevin Wong, the co-owner of the restaurant, came out to query just why I would want to paint such a chaotic scene. Well, it appealed to me. I guess another case of different strokes for different folks. The older I get, the more I am inclined to pursue personal topics. I would like to think that I have seasoned intuition.
