Painting Description

This is a moody painting of a tiny slice of subtly coloured landscape along the Conestogo River, west of St. Jacobs.

I took a piece that I know well so that I could concentrate on the subtle mood and the more vigorous paint application. This approach is fun for me as it forces me to change my approach to a familiar subject.
