Painting Description

I was attracted by the floral colour and the clutter as the plants spilled out onto the sidewalk from a garden shop in Regensburg, Germany. I took a decidedly rougher, less organized, approach to the style of this work because I felt that it was appropriate.

This original painting was part of a large group of paintings donated by the artist in 2014 to St. Mary’s Hospital.
