Painting Description

I set off for England, and once again I visited this remarkable stone village just on the edge of the Cotswolds. Not far from Burford, this village, like Burford, cascades down a hill. The appeal of this place is, in part, the almost severe old-world feel of this small settlement that has been there in various forms for well over a thousand years. Once very prosperous from the raising of sheep, this area is now a quiet gentrified residential community.
