Painting Description

Sunlight cascading across this rocky shore drew my attention to this peaceful piece of Beaver Point on Salt Spring Island. Clearly the view of this rocky area serves as the focal point for this quiet painting of a quiet island just off Vancouver. The name, Beaver Point, speaks of some of the inhabitants but fails to mention a famous one living nearby, Robert Bateman.
