Painting Description

This is an impression of a farmhouse near Hawkesville. I often paint “sketches” of elements that I think might make a good component of a larger, more complex work. To be sure, often I decide not to proceed with a further piece, but this preliminary approach does give me a chance to assess some of the possibilities.
