There is no tour quite like a tour run by a retired cop. We had the delightful opportunity to see inside private courtyards and closes of Denmark’s capital because our two-hour walking tour was conducted by the retired chief of police. Small private worlds were revealed just on the far side of huge imposing wooden doors that screen these views from the passing traffic.
