Nova Scotia Stream

Painting Description

In a 1994 tour of Cape Breton, this creek caught my eye. This small bubbling river was one of many that passed under the highway. There was either no name post for this river or I did not notice. The rocks stacked at the side suggested the composition and the many hues within this misaligned wall begged for a colourful treatment. After so many years of painting, I am still looking for a look or angle to present a different aspect of a scene.
