I try not to distract anyone while I photograph in the country but occasionally someone becomes curious about me as in this case. His question was … They tell me that you sell your paintings, even “overseas”. When I replied that yes, people from many countries buy my work, he just shook his head, incredulous that anyone would be interested in the ordinary activities of the Mennonites.
