Firewood cut into stove lengths remains unpiled in a bush near Paradise Lake.

The almost abstract patterns of the heap of wood appealed to me because of the light effects. I find it impossible to really understand why I am attracted to so many diverse subjects other than the patterns that sunlight has created.
