Painting Description

Being a painter I am drawn to, and impressed by, things that do not commonly get noticed. This view across the savanna on the North Island of New Zealand presents not only a distant view, but also a pattern of closely related and subtle colours that appeal to me. Most people would see this as tropical grassland with very little interest. I do not share that opinion.
