Painting Description

Some commissions require me to use someone else’s photos to construct a painting of a place to which I have never been. Normally I work from my own photographic information but in this case I used photos taken by my friend, Larry, of his trip with his son to the Yukon to develop a painting for him. As I had spent a week in Alaska, I had a feeling for the imposing landscape of that area.
