Painting Description

Because I remembered so clearly staying at my grandparent’s place on what is now Fischer-Hallman Road, Grandpa’s Herd of Shorthorns, Image #1962, we purchased this pitcher and bowl at an auction in St. Jacobs. The very idea held many memories for me. Also outstanding in my memory of my grandparents’ house is the stuffed squirrel mounted on a piece of wood and a very large ornately framed lithograph of Queen Victoria that dominated the hall landing.
