Painting Description

This is red rock country not far from Sedona, Arizona, a haven for hikers and rock hounds.

We hiked through lots of places that looked like this. To be honest, I had to talk to a rock expert who has hiked and explored this country to tell me where I was. Yes, we had maps but frankly to me it all started looking the same. It is dry, dusty and very haunting country but also very pretty in a severe way.
