Little Red Wagon
Painting Description
This little boy on a Mennonite farm west of Hawkesville was happy to amuse himself while I talked with his father.
When I was a child, my cousins from the farms looked forward to coming to our house, not because of the Snyders’ sparkling personalities but because in town we had miles of sidewalks. This little fellow with his wagon could only comfortably go up and down a piece of concrete about thirty feet long. He of course was all over the yard and driveway but that was not quite so smooth.
