Linwood Area Stream
Painting Description
Cows drinking in and from the stream is a very old idea often described in European paintings. The “wading pool” concept is now banned by the Department of Agriculture which is reasonable from a health and safety standpoint but robs me of a lovely bucolic subject. Progress?
