Gardens Open to View is a program that is very popular in England as a way of raising money for charity. Private gardens are open to the public for just one day or one week-end a year. This particular garden was part of quite a modest affair in the Cotswold town of Broadway. Expecting to be lured by great confections of colour, I was surprised by the pull of this quiet beauty.
