Last of the River’s Ice

Painting Description

These buildings are just across the Conestogo River from Hawkesville. This small watercolour is really a colour piece that uses those remaining bits of ice as a foil to the natural colours of the bank and to the man-made colours of the buildings. This scene is adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Bridge.
