Painting Description

I painted this piece down in Key West Florida, from photos that I had carted along on my change of address. In a curious way, this image of Amish country (Millbank area) flows in a peaceful kind of way even though the activity shown is hard work. Ploughing the fields before the winter sets in is decorated with the last gasp of autumn leaves. Aside from the colour and design of a painting, I try to include interesting human touches, such as the two little kids with their mother.
