Painting Description

Lake Ontario forms the background for this twinkling spring hilltop scene providing a calm counterpoint to the active flickering greens of the emerging leaves.

This painting was started in 2009 when I was painting a commission work for a family in Beamsville, Ontario. I was not very well at that point so I decided to put it aside for a while. I had no idea that the “rest” would be almost 4 years.
