Painting Description

Our road was a steep and twisted journey from the tranquil area of the lakes. This stone bridge carries the road across a mountain stream that jabs and feints its way through the rocks and the tangled plants. Although not the pinnacle of the mountain, this is the high point for the road that turns suddenly and starts its precipitous journey down the other side.
