Painting Description

This almost misty scene is not my usual topic. Normally I am drawn to a more broadly lit landscape where shadows define the forms. In spite of myself I was drawn to this almost magical view of a wet field that became a pond on a farm one mile north of the covered bridge at West Montrose.
