Painting Description

For many years now we have had the enjoyment of a friend’s English style perennial garden close by in the village of Phillipsburg. I am a hopelessly lazy gardener. We now live in a small place with a tiny garden but so enjoy visiting gardens all over North America and Europe. So many of my paintings grew from these floral tours. Our friend, Ian, always reminds us of the gardener’s disclaimer “My garden is never at its best”.
