Painting Description
Shades of blues and purples on these Amish girls are quite typical of their traditional dresses.
I spotted these girls rushing through the grounds of the annual Amish auction which raises money for their parochial school system. Technically I decided to use an approach developed in the 1930’s by Nicolai Fechin, an American/Russian artist who lived in the southwest of the United States.
