Painting Description

On one of our jaunts to England we rented a country flat in Sussex near Arundel. This charming three-room apartment had been created from stables of a substantial country house. In the surrounding area, red brick houses nestled into the quiet green countryside. The advertisement for this place could have sounded like a description from Country Life magazine—” with extensive views over the south downs”.
