Painting Description

I suppose anyone who has not lived in an area where wind and weather have sculpted the soft stone like this, is attracted to these needles. The milky quality of the water suggests a glacial component and adds to the exotic quality of this scene. These features are not uncommon across the Western/Central part of North America.
