Painting Description

Perhaps I should have named this painting Vine Clad Tree. I am interested here in two aspects. One is the bright orange spot of colour that the oast house presents in this landscape of soft greens. The tree as well stands out, not just in colour, but also in its spiney linear quality, so different from the feathery quality of this spring Kentish view.
