Herman Snyder Farm
Painting Description
I wanted to restore this farm back to its appearance of the 1930’s when my great uncle owned the farm. Although the succeeding owners of this farm have changed this pretty stone house very little, as you would expect, the farm and outbuildings show the march of progress. I was pleased to create this painting for my late father’s first cousin whom I had never met. Mennonite families are large and the relationships complex.
