This springtime picture shows a mother and her son starting to the field with a thermos for the men preparing the land and planting the seeds. This is a quiet, sweet domestic scene from Amish country (Perth County). I am attracted to pretty views of everyday life. For that reason, a British art dealer described my work as contemporary genre.
