Painting Description

Looking back at this painting almost 40 years later, I see the influence of F.S. Coburn, an eastern Canadian artist. All young artists searching for not only a personal style but also their own aesthetic are buffeted around as they happen upon an artist whose work rings a receptive bell in their heads.
