Painting Description

This young fellow harnessing this dapple gray puts me back to childhood when I was fortunate enough to get to “play” with the horses from my Dad’s dairy. I am sure that those early years have been the root of my many Mennonite paintings. Only as I get older do I realize how seminal those childhood experiences have been in the body of work that I have produced.
