Halos of Sunlight
Painting Description
Sun streams through a high leaf canopy to create pools of light in the woods near Paradise Lake.
I am constantly amazed at the things that I have not noticed. In this case it is the way a halo effect is created by sunlight piercing through a high canopy so that the light is diffused and there are no sharp edges to the shadows. I have to look more closely.
