Painting Description

The sweep of the bay at Grand Bend on Lake Huron allowed a chance to combine a beach view with one of the water.

This preliminary painting allowed me to sort out some of my conflicting ideas for a much larger commissioned painting. Because the idea was to keep the open feel of the wide beach, I had to focus a little more on the patterns on the beach.
